We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the internal accounting and administration functions for a number of private companies/trusts. Located in Leederville, the role would be preferably for 5 days per week, 9am – 3pm (27.5 hours per week) however this is negotiable.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Accounts payable and receivable functions
- Bank reconciliations
- Payroll function
- Superannuation guarantee compliance
- Reconciling and preparing Business Activity Statement calculations
- Financial accounts preparation
- Income Tax compliance
- Company Secretarial duties
- Daily administration functions
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- CPA or CA qualified, with a minimum of 5 years experience in a chartered firm
- Strong business accounts knowledge
- High level knowledge of MYOB, Excel and Word
- Strong time management, organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
