A new opportunity exists for a Accounts Receivable Officer in our office in Adelaide.

The Position:
Based in Adelaide, South Australia you will report to the Transactional Team Leader who will look to you to to ensure the accurate and timely preparation, input and processing of all ARTC debtor transactions including Interstate Access Invoicing and Debtor Management.

The Role:
Your accountabilities will include the provision of timely, accurate and confidential accounts receivable processing and payment, financial records and files, and completion of month end processing. As well as compliance with internal control accounting procedures.

About You:
We are seeking applicants with the following skills and experience:
     

• Proven experience in the control of a sizable debtors ledger and processing of debtor transactions using computerized accounting software
• Large volume processing of customer accounts
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and negotiating skills
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and the ability to interpret agreements and contracts
• Ability to use initiative and ability to work autonomously when required
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team member.

A certificate or diploma in Accounting (NIA) completed or partly completed and 
previous experience with “Ci Financials” accounting package is desirable but not essential.
