Deloitte Restructuring is Australia’s leading fully integrated national practice providing insolvency, contingency planning, financial restructuring and turnaround advisory services to businesses, capital providers and the public sector.

Our business is about capital at risk, where it has been poorly used or market conditions have not been conducive to success. Sometimes that capital is merely underperforming other times it will be facing serious crisis.

Whether we are advising the providers of capital or the management whose job it is to deliver a return, our job is to help our clients face this risk and make the best decisions to protect and recover value whether it be through turning around operations, restructuring a balance sheet or by leading through an insolvency process to effect a restructure or protect stakeholder interests.

About the Role

An opportunity has just arisen for a Senior Analyst to join our team in Brisbane, your core activities will include;

• restructuring and turnaround planning and execution,
• cost driver analysis and cost of service reduction,
• stabilising operations and implementing changes to improve cash flow and deliver sustained profit improvement,
• business case development,
• program funding analysis,
• providing commercial advice and contract negotiation support,
• as a Senior Analyst, you will also have the opportunity to manage small teams, your experience and networks will allow you to play an integral role articulating and developing the Deloitte value proposition and track record in the market.

About You

You can demonstrate at least 3 years of experience in a financial advisory or operational restructuring role and bring the following experience:

• Industry knowledge with exposure to distressed and underperforming businesses
• Ability to analyse companies from a financial, operational, and industry perspective
• Building internal and external relationships, originating and managing revenue targets
• Ability to balance multiple engagements and responsibilities while providing exceptional client service
• CA qualification is required (or currently completing)
