THE OPPORTUNITY
A unique opportunity has become available for a talented and passionate technically focussed finance professional to put their heart and soul into the transformation journey as the Financial Controller.
Leading a small but nimble team your key accountabilities will include:
- Driving the development of strong financial control strategies to meet the group’s strategic plan
- Manage the timely preparation of internal, external and statutory periodic reports and ensure that all accounting standards and legislative requirements are met;
- Design and implement balance sheet and capital management strategy designed to extract maximum value from the balance sheet
- Lead negotiation and liaise with external funders on capital projects funding
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful you will be a CA or CPA qualified accounting professional with a keen interest in technical accounting issues. Previous experience within statutory reporting for large and highly complex organisation will be highly favoured. Superior communication skills and a demonstrated track record in leading teams in an environment of tight deadlines are also essential.
