About the Company:
Bingo Industries is an ASX Listed waste management and recycling company with more than 10 years' experience servicing both the building and construction industry as well as industrial and commercial customers.
About the role:
Reporting to the Credit Manager, the Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services to ensure efficient operation of the accounts receivable function. Your duties include but will not be restricted to:
- Manage a ledger of accounts receivable
- Follow up with debtors for payment – 70 collections per day
- Build and maintain strong internal & external relationships
- Allocate received payments and reconcile accounts
- Process daily banking, eftpos, cash and credit card payments
- Investigate and resolve all queries/issues in a timely manner
- Raise and process credit notes
- Process credit applications including undertaking Qchecks/Veda/trade checks and references
- Run monthly statements and mail/email to customers
- Conduct aged debtor reporting
- Other duties where required
About You:
- Relevant accounting qualifications and/or prior experience in a similar position
- Working knowledge of data and administrative management practices and procedures
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of office software packages (MS Office)
- Minimum 3 year high volume receivables collection experience
