About the Company

Our client is a long standing professional new home builder that has been in business for  20 years operating in the owner occupier new home market. They have a strong reputation in the Qld housing industry and have demonstrated continued growth over the last 5 years.

About the Position

Currently an opportunity exists for an additional Accounts Payable and Receivable Officer to join the team. 

Duties will include

  • Full function accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable duties
  • Answering and directing incoming calls
  • Office administration including mail, stationery and general administration
  • Data entry of subcontractor and supplier invoices
  • End of Month supplier reconciliations
  • Matching purchase orders to invoices
  • Liaising with construction Supervisors
  • Reviewing and preparing creditor payments
  • Maintaining banking reconciliations
  • Compliance subcontractor packs
  • Insurance registers
  • Customer satisfaction surveys 
  • Back up of bank reconciliations and wages

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role you will need to have

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar high volume accounts based role
  • Full function Accounts Payable experience
  • Experience in a building environment advantageous however not essential
  • Great organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and show initiative. 
  • A certificate in finance or business administration would be looked upon favourably.
