What will you do?
The primary objective of this role is to ensure the accurate processing of all payments to suppliers, maintaining the accounts payable systems and providing advice on accounts payable issues to management. Daily tasks may include but are not limited to;
- Leading a small team in the daily functions of Accounts Payable
- Maintaining the accounts payable manual and supplier accounts through internal systems
- Batching, reconciling and arranging payments of accounts
- Accounts payable month-end close and reporting requirements
- Adherence to WorkPac's purchasing and finance systems and procedures
- Timely and accurate processing of superannuation and contractor's payments

- Previous accounts payable experience
- Previous experience in a team leader position
- Excellent time management and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage high volume data entry
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and have flexibility as required
- Ability to establish, maintain and enhance positive internal and external relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to remain calm under pressure with a strong work ethic
