The Client
This organisation is operating in the health industry and due to extended leave within the team, my client is looking for a Payroll Officer on a temporary to permanent basis.
Responsibilities
This role will focus on full - function processing for a particular region that this organisation operates in. More specifically this role focusses on:
- End to end processing of casual employees for approximately 350 employees;
- Maintenance of the payroll system with employee data;
- Liaising with employees for any queries;
- Maintaining leave, absence and overtime reports;
- Interpreting awards and EBA’s;
- Processing new starters, terminations and redundancies; and
- Other tasks as required by the Senior Payroll Officer.
About You
- Two to three years’ experience in full function payroll positions;
- Working in medium and high-volume payroll processing positions;
- Experience working with Micropay or Chris21;
- Intermediate experience in excel;
- Excellent communication skills; and
- Outstanding customer service skills.
