Our client requires an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their growing finance team over the next 12 months.

Client Details
Our client is a specialist marine service organisation based in Port Melbourne; focusing primarily on harbour planning, coastal engineering and maritime dredging. With national and international clients, a growing project pipe line of work, this dynamic privately run organisation requires a hands on Assist Accountant to hit the ground running over the next 12 months.
Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure all monthly journals are posted in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist Senior Financial Accountant in preparing monthly tax obligations i.e. BAS, Payroll tax
- Assist in reconciling inter-company loan accounts on a monthly basis
- Ad hoc reporting requirements
Profile
- Degree qualified (Accounting Major)
- Working towards their professional qualification - CPA/CA
- Proven team player with strong relationship building skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced analytical and excel skills
Job Offer
- Contract rate equivalent to $60k to $70k + super; pending level of experience
