The Shared Services team at Linfox require a Payroll Officer to be based at Essendon Fields, Victoria. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Officer undertakes administration, processing, reporting and maintenance of the weekly award payroll for all Linfox Group wholly owned Australian entities.

 

Primary job functions include but are not limited to:

 

  • Processing your allocated portion of a weekly national payroll;
  • Processing of annual leave forms;
  • New starters and terminations;
  • Maintaining payroll records;
  • Assisting with payroll queries;
  • Assisting with month end duties;
  • Reconciliation of leave entitlements;
  • Calculate and process Off-cycle payments as required;
  • Prepare and distribute weekly payroll Costing Reports to Site Managers;
  • Other payroll duties as required.

 

The successful applicant will:

 

  • Have extensive hands on experience on the Linfox SAP payroll system and processes;
  • Good working knowledge of various Federal and State Awards together with EBA’s and payroll related legislation i.e. PAYG, Superannuation etc;
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong inter-personal skills;
  • Be customer service focussed;
  • Have superior problem solving and negotiation skills;
  • Be process-oriented, and experienced in assisting with the delivery of process improvement initiatives;
  • Be able to demonstrate strong SAP and Microsoft Office skills (advanced Excel);
  • Possess excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.

 

You will be required to meet Linfox's employment criteria which will include but not be limited to a Criminal History Check and full medical with a drug and alcohol test.
