Our Client has a strong market presence within the FMCG sector. The company has restructure the executive team and is now poised to undertake another period of growth, as the business expands internationally. 

The CFO is looking to employ a Financial Controller, who would value eighteen months' of mentoring, before taking on the CFO position. Until then, you will support the CFO in restructuring the team and developing finance's commercial capability. The role will have the 'standard' responsibilities across all areas of finance, including management reporting and analysis, preparation of financial statements, compliance, tax, and overseeing the qualified accounting team.

As part of the broader growth strategy and development of the business, you will assist the CFO by continuing to develop the commercial support finance offers to the business; and the underpinning reporting and systems. 

You enjoy managing and developing staff. You also want a role that offers opportunities to improve reporting and systems. Just as importantly, you make a point of understanding the business' commercial operations.  You may either be moving from chartered, or a role in industry; and you will be CA / CPA qualified.  If this sounds like you, then we look forward to your application.
