About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Administrator to grow within our team of award-winning SMSF experts! The role is ideal for a graduate commerce or accounting student (or similar), someone with experience working with data and accounting concepts and/or someone proficient in identifying process improvements and efficiencies.

An individual who can achieve the more detailed task at hand to the highest standard and simultaneously critically assess it will be successful. They will be comfortable working with figures, technology and asking questions like “Why are we doing it this way?”.
Working within the Onboarding team of our Accounting function to on-board new clients of Heffron in line with our promise and quality standards, the role will be responsible for:
- Coordination of all aspects of on-boarding and takeover funds in our systems
- Processing and homing all documents relating to accounting funds
- Handover of processed funds to the accounting team for finalisation
- Providing a high level of administrative and data support, efficiently and accurately
- Playing an active part in our business-wide focus on continuous improvement, particularly with regard to customer service, automation and processes
- Utilising technology, databases and business portals effectively, and
- Building and maintaining strong business relationships with internal and external contacts.

About You
Working closely with other Accounting and finance professionals, this role requires:
- The ability to learn new concepts and tasks quickly
- A natural flair for numbers, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications or working towards same
- An exceptional attention to detail to the extent you may be described as meticulous
- The ability to identify efficiencies, propose and gain support through to solution implementation
- Experience in professional services (Financial Services desired)
- A welcome outlook on opportunities to diversify and cross-skill
- The aptitude to embrace and utilise new technologies
- The urgency to work to targets and deadlines, and
- The motivation to succeed and grow.
