The Company
My client is a top ASX listed Financial Services business based in the heart of Sydney CBD. This company is a household name with a reputation for hiring and retaining top talent. Due to a secondment internally, they require a Financial Reporting Manager to assist for a 12 month period with potential permanency thereafter.
The Role
Reporting to the Divisional CFO you will be responsible for supervising a team of 3 Financial Accountants onshore as well as a transactional team offshore. Your role will be split between staff management, maintaining the general ledger, liaising with auditors and the business, statutory reporting and also working on process improvements and streamlining.
This role has high visibility within the business as you will be accountable to senior stakeholders on a daily basis.
Your Profile
You will be CA/CPA qualified ideally from a Big 4 or Mid-Tier Audit background. You will have strong technical accounting and reporting experience as well as staff management exposure. Excellent communication skills are essential. Financial Services experience is preferred though not mandatory.
