About the business and the role
My clients are some of the best not-for-profit brands in South Australia.
Due to various reasons from business growth/ new acquisition to covering maternity leave, they are wanting to engage some of the brightest payroll professionals who truly understands end to end payroll to join their team. There are currently two payroll vacancies across different location in SA.
Job tasks and responsibilities (General)
Working with HR, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following duties:
- Payroll processing for approximately 1,700 employees with a closely knitted payroll team.
- On-boarding starters and processing terminations
- Efficient and accurate processing of payroll
- Fortnightly/monthly payroll
- Payroll tax/PAYG and Superannuation
- Responding to payroll queries via phone and email
- Sorting and distribution of payslips
- Liaising with Salary Packaging providers to ensure accuracy
The successful applicant will have
- Previous experience in a full function payroll position
- Previous experience with CHRIS21, Preceda, TechOne or SAP highly regarded
- Experience in producing and analysing financial reports
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong excellent customer service and communication skills
- EBA and award interpretation knowledge essential
- Strong Excel and numeracy skills
