Chandler Macleod are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for our client based in St Kilda Road Melbourne to commence ASAP. This is a permanent part time role (25-30 hours) with flexibility to work school hours and or flexible days . Competitive salary is on offer between $55K- $65K plus super depending on experience
This is a unique opportunity for a suitably experienced Senior Bookkeeper to assist and manage the bookkeeping/finance process for a group of restaurants and associated investments.
Your role will manage our bookkeeping and account management process and provide our management team and owners with internal reporting.
You will be responsible for:
Management of Multiple entities
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Reconciling Accounts
Profit & loss/balance sheet preparation and analysis monthly
BAS / PAYG / FBT and payroll tax returns
Inter-company Invoicing
Monthly KPI Reporting and budgeting
Cash-flow Reporting
Fixed Asset Register
Liaise with external accountants
Supplier contract renewals and tenders
Insurance claims processing and management of claims
Landlords and Tenants payments/management
To be successful in this role you MUST possess the following-
- Solid background in a role of a similar nature
- Competent with MYOB
- Strong experience in month end and financial reporting combined with strong knowledge of various relevant accounting principles is essential.
- Intermediate Excel
- You will have passion in gaining improvement in financial areas of the business while working closely with the owner's objectives and goals.
- 5 years minimum in a accounts function.
- Experience working within a commercial business
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to demonstrate a need for long-term employment.
