We're an accounting and financial services practice in West Perth/Northbridge, providing solutions to our growing client base via Consulting, Accounting, Tax, Finance, Investment and Legal advice.

An opportunity is available for a permanent, full-time Senior Accountant to join our Tax and Compliance Team. 

The successful candidate will join a team of bookkeepers, graduate, Intermediate and Senior Accountants, who report to the Accounting and Business Services Manager and to the Practice Director.

Ideally you will be CA/CPA qualified (or near completion), with current experience using Xero, MYOB  and BGL 360. 

This role requires knowledge of complex company tax returns and experience of inter-related companies and entities as well as SMSFs. You will produce a high standard of work to Individuals, Sole Traders, Partnerships, Companies and Trusts, in the preparation of financial statements, BAS, FBT, Income Tax and SMSF returns.

You will also have the interest and skills to supervise and guide 5+ junior accountants. 

You will possess:

• 5+ years experience in public practice, working on individual, company, group and SMSF tax returns;
• Strong administrative and organisational skills;
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills;
• Leadership/supervision skills;
• High attention to detail, problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task;
• A focus on quality and the desire to provide a high level of client satisfaction at every opportunity;
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
