Today, Moose Toys is on the hunt for a hardworking and efficient Financial Accountant to join their highly motivated and growing Finance team.

About the role

• Month-end balance sheet reconciliations of allocated entities.
• Timely and accurate end of month reporting for allocated group entities and divisions.
• Timely and accurate reporting of Business Activity Statements and other legislative requirements for allocated Moose entities.
• Completion of Bank reconciliations for allocated Moose entities.
• Complete and reconcile Inter-company transactions:
• Allocating debit/credit notes; and
• Provide documentation for on-charging.
• Provide monthly management reports, ratios, and variance analysis.
• Liaise with external auditors in the year-end audit process.
• Preparation and checking of the annual Financial Reports of allocated entities.
• Preparation and checking of the annual Tax Returns of allocated entities.
• Prepare and maintain detailed procedures for all key processes managed.
• Keep Transfer Pricing records and supporting document
• Other adhoc finance and reporting tasks as required.

Skills and experience

• Specialist knowledge in financial accounting functions and processes, Microsoft Office suite and accounting software (JDE/Oracle preferred), cost controls and sound tax knowledge.
• The ability to relate well to others  and establish strong business relationships with people at all levels
• Strong analysis skills of numeric data and be able to make judgments from available information, manage risk and conduct audits and be able to demonstrate an understanding of how one issue may be a part of a much larger system;  
• Strong planning and organisational skills to plan ahead and work in a systematic and organised way to complete multiple tasks within agreed deadlines.
