The Role
This role is part of a high performing team within the National Credit department, responsible for taking ownership of the role. You will be responsible for:
- Managing your own portfolio pf accounts
- Liaising with the legal teams and mercantile agents
- Reporting debtor performances
- Communicating with internal and external points of contact
- Proactive collection of payments in line with company policy
- Resolving complex queries and disputes
- Ad hoc tasks as assigned by management
The Candidate
The right candidate will have at least 5+ years of Credit Control/Accounts Receivable experience in a large company and possess:
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence outcomes
- Customer oriented and a good listener
- Proactive and self-driven
- Tenacious with a focus on developing your career
- Strong track record of DSO reduction
