This business partnering role involves cost accounting and working closely with the international sales team and domestic operations team to ensure the business gains a competitive advantage in its market. They will also be responsible for the management of the machine's lifecycle.

Our client is a multinational heavy machine manufacturing organization with a presence in more than 11 countries. They speclize in Aerospace and Aviation equipment.
Description
- Compiling costing data for month end process for manufacturing department ensuring highest level of accuracy and adherence to deadlines for all reporting.
- Ensure Timely and Accurate closing of Monthly Financial for Operations
- Analyse actual versus standard costs monthly, deliver associated reporting and establish business reasons for all variances. Report to be circulated to the concerned management team prior to Monthly Operation Reviews (MOR).
- Ensure inventory practices meet financial requirements by supervision of inventory records and shop floor data collection ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Work closely with supply planning team to derive optimal batch sizes in the light of inventory holdings
- Preparation of Labour rate and absorption impact during Budget & forecasting exercise.
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure compliance with accounting policies and SOX.
- Budget and spending control of CAPEX - Coordinator in BAXCAP for manufacturing & QA CAPEX
- Responsible to ensure that all manufacturing accounting practices adhere to Financial policies
- Responsible for pricing analyses and cost cutting solutions
Profile
- CPA / C.A qualified or close to completion.
- Minimum 5 years in Finance, with at least 3 years in Manufacturing and Supply Chain Accounting, ideally within a large multinational complex matrix organisation.
- Exceptional interpersonal / business partnering skills and work ethic.
- Exceptional Excel skills
- Excellent systems knowledge (ideally Hyperion, Cognos, JDE, Couper)
- Positive attitude and willingness to exceed expectations
- Background in manufacturing industry is highly regarded
