Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, an opportunity within a Financial Services organisation as an Internal Audit Manager has transpired. This role will look after independent reviews of technology control frameworks, IT systems and infrastructure, as well as policies and procedures. Having a strong understanding of risk and internal audit, along with technology and data analytics, this role will enhance capabilities and forward thinking.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end audit reviews and planning; identify processes, risks and controls for testing
• Test the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls
• Identify and analyse any audit issues and management action plans
• Business partnering within Group Audit, technology, operations, compliance and credit
• Prepare and discuss audit reports on a quarterly basis
• Monitor project and program developments activities and emerging risks
• Ad hoc Group Audit initiatives and projects

Profile:

• Degree in Technology, Accounting/Finance or equivalent
• 5+ years' experience in internal audit or external audit
• CISA, IIA, CA or CPA qualified
• Background within the Financial Services industry is a must
• SOX is desirable
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills
• Critical thinker, analytical and attention to detail
• Self-starter who is proactive and ambitious
