The Role:
This is the perfect role for a well-rounded Accounting professional with exposure to both Financial Accounting as well as basic understanding of Management Accounting. Reporting to the Financial Controller this role will involve the following:
- Preparation of month end financial reports;
- Adjustments/prepayments/journals/accruals and inter-company reconciliation;
- Reconciliation of balance sheets and general ledger maintenance;
- Preparation and control of budgets and forecast, including analysis of actual vs. budget;
- Responsible for statutory compliance, including the preparation of monthly BAS, FBT and GST;
- Assist with any reporting to head office.
Your skills:
For success in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- 2-3 years experience in a Financial Accountant or Senior AA role;
- Experience using large ERP such as SAP;
- CPA/CA qualified;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and desire to liaise with multiple stakeholders in person and over the phone/video conference;
- A ‘’can do’’ and pro-active approach to owning your remit with a passion for driving growth and managing a team down the track.
