What’s the job?

Working closely with the Group Financial Controller and Group Finance Manager within the broader operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing, reviewing and authorising various management accounting and bookkeeping tasks for entities within the group.

Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Providing support to the internal finance team with core processes, such as payroll, accounts payable and working capital management;
• Overseeing the end of month close process, including the preparation of monthly management reporting packages and analysis of divisional results;
• Ensuring compliance with core business obligations, such as ATO lodgements, superannuation payments and payroll tax returns;
• Other ad hoc duties and analysis as directed by the Group Financial Controller.
   

Who we are looking for?

• Prior experience in Business Services/Public practice accounting or a bookkeeping role;
• Tertiary qualification with a major in accounting;
• Currently undertaking or about to commence CA/CPA program;

• Strong organisational and time management skills, with a proven record of identifying and prioritising opportunities for improvement;
• Effective communication skills to develop and foster key strategic relationships with internal and external parties;
• Prior experience with Xero Accounting software viewed favourably.
