The firm:
For over 25 years my client has provided accounting, auditing, taxation and management consulting services to many small and medium-sized businesses as well as family groups and individuals. They pride themselves on retention of their staff, professional development and have strong cultural values.

The opportunity:
You will provide leadership by managing a team of technically strong, intelligent accountants and reporting directly to the Partners. You will help service a portfolio of around $2.5 million. You will get involved in everything like supporting staff, managing client relationships, compliance and business developing. They are looking for a strong Manager to join the firm with the expectation to make Partner within 2-3 years.

The successful candidate will have:

• Over 10 years of experience;
• Technical skills in all areas of Tax and Audit
• Proven capability to handle taxation compliance requirements for a range of entity types; Companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals and SMSF
• Ability to prepare general, special purpose and large financial reports
• Experience in Australian Public practice
• Desire for personal, technical and professional development
• CA or CPA qualified
• Looking for an intelligent person who is confident with client contact and possesses sound technical knowledge of Australian tax issues,
• Has a good understanding of accounting software programs such as MYOB, Xero and Class Super
• Management experience with a strong review focus
