FPT Accounting is a CPA Accounting Practice that is located close to the centre of Toowoomba. The firm is currently seeking an experienced accountant to fill a full time position. This is a unique and rare opportunity to join a friendly and successful team.
We are looking for a passionate, career minded accountant to assist us with:
- Completion of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns, Business Activity Statements & Other Requirements
- Managing a client base across a wide variety of industries
- Assist clients with the management of their internal accounting systems.
You will have the following skills and experience:
- Accounting Degree is essential
- Extensive experience in a similar role within public practice of at least 5 years
- Advanced MYOB experience
- Experience with Reckon and Xero will be considered an advantage
- Extensive Tax knowledge
- Proficient in computer literacy such as Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word & Outlook)
- Honest and professional approach
- Well presented
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and writing skills
This role will require excellent work ethic, the ability to work autonomously and practice self-management.
