THE COMPANY
International Facilities Management organisation with Australian headquarters based in Mulgrave.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the National Payroll & Benefits Manager the Payroll Specialist will join a team of three managing a payroll of 900+ nationally based employees including:
- Interpreting awards / agreements /contracts.
- Management of Month-end/Year-end Tasks (PAYG, Payment Summaries, Payroll Tax/Super) etc.
- Completion of General Ledger Reconciliations
- Managing employee queries

Being a small team you will have the opportunity to learn ALL aspects of running the weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll.
CHALLENGES
Due to the high volume nature of the weekly payroll, and the complexity, there is an expectation that you have the ability to not only hit the ground sprinting but also the aptitude to manage your own workload once you’ve mastered all aspects of this.
IDEAL APPLICANTS
You will be a seasoned Payroll Professional who can present with demonstrated experience managing an end to end payroll of varying frequencies, particularly a weekly pay run with at least 200+ employees. Applicants with experience utilising T&A like Kronos/EmpLive/Time Target are especially encouraged to apply. The majority of employees are Trades/Services based so, if you’ve paid “tradies” and/or enjoy interacting with roster/on-call employees, this is the opportunity for you!
