The Company
An award winning media group based in North Sydney are looking to bring in a strong assistant accountant to join their large finance team. This company is at the forefront of their industry and their work is instantly recognisable in the Australian market.

The Role
The Assistant Accountant will report directly to and support the Finance Manager as well as various line managers. This position will also liaise with digital and group stakeholders. The role will revolve primarily around group financial accounting & reporting for a portfolio of businesses as well as process improvements and looking after reconciliations and rental payments.

Key Criteria
As this is the media industry, excellent business communication and influencing skills are a prerequisite along with 2-3 years accounting experience. You must also meet the following criteria:

Strong understanding of debits & credits
Strong software system and Excel skills
Ability to work with non-finance people
Property, digital or advertising industry experience advantageous
