Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Team Manager forms an integral part of the Finance team with day to day leadership of the transactional accounts team.

 

Key Responsibilities/Criteria:

  1. Provide leadership and mentoring to a high volume transactional Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team.
  2. Implement process improvements and change initiatives to ensure Finance system optimisation.
  3. Embed Finance system and become the subject matter expert.
  4. Act as a central liaison point for customers, suppliers, the wider finance team and organisation to ensure prompt and efficient processing of transactions and effective management of working capital.
  5. Maintain a strong and effective control environment and drive compliance with standard processes.
  6. Establish productive relationships across the business including finance, procurement and senior management.

 

Your Experience & Education:

  • Managed high volume transactional Finance team using various Finance systems.
  • Collaboration with internal and external key stakeholders delivering on customer service and performance.
  • Demonstrated Finance system expert in large ERP systems.
  • Contemporary Finance practises & continuous improvement.
  • Influential Financial Supervisor who knows how to build & develop a good Finance team into a great Finance team!
  • Leading by example, coaching & mentoring and culture creator.
  • Proven ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Completed Diploma in Finance.
  • Completed Cert IV in Frontline Management.
