Company

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high calibre finance team and have scope to develop long-term. They have experienced a period of significant growth which has seen them expand rapidly in Australia and they are well positioned to enhance their operations and scale into the future. 

Position

Working under an impressive Financial Controller, you will have a broad accounts role incorporating reporting, tax and transactional tasks. Key duties will include assisting with month end accruals, bank reconciliations, BAS preparation, preparation of Superannuation and payroll processing amongst other tasks. In addition to this, you will be given ownership for specific business units and be supported to grow into other areas of accounts long-term. 

Profile

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• Excellent communication skills to build rapport / relationships and handle queries effectively
• A number of years experience within an Assistant Accountant position
• Experience in using Xero would be beneficial but not essential
• Completing CA/CPA studies are desirable, but may not be essential.

Benefits

A salary in the region of $60,000 - $65,000 per annum + super is on offer, depending on qualifications and experience.
