Reporting to a Senior Finance Manager, this position will provide support across Finance with a focus on basic foundation accounting. This role is geared towards enhancing the customer experience across the organisation.

The successful candidate will be assisting this large finance team with a wide variety of tasks, and is the perfect opportunity for an upcoming junior to gain more practical accounting experience within a large, well-known organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Incumbents of this position will share a common set of responsibilities as well as allocated specific
responsibilities for the support across Finance . These responsibilities may include:

• Timely and accurate payment of invoices
• Purchase order management and review
• Processing and verification of supplier invoices on ERP system
• Expense payment management
• Accounts Receivable tasks
• Procure to Pay tasks
• Credit Card Management tasks

Key Requirements:

• Completion of a relevant degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or an
• equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
• Excellent written and oral communication, including the ability to develop excellent working relationships with, colleagues, students and other stakeholders
• Require judgement based on theoretical and technical knowledge and ability to exercise initiative in the application of systems and procedures
• High level proficiency in computer software packages including word processing,spreadsheets, databases, electronic mail, and the use of the internet as a research tool
• Effective analytical, problem solving capability and high level of attention to detail
