The Role
This role sits within a large finance team and focuses around analysis and reporting in the preparation of timely month-end financial reporting. This is a busy and challenging position that offers the opportunity to progress into a more senior position once you’ve proven yourself. Initially your duties will include:
- Full month-end closing (Balance Sheet reconciliations, P&L preparation, Accruals/Prepayments, Fixed Assets etc.)
- Producing the monthly management reporting packs with appropriate variance analysis and commentary on anomalies
- BAS & FBT preparation and lodgment
- Cash flow management/analysis/forecasting
- P&L variance analysis/commentary
- Preparation of Year-End statutory accounts
- Involvement in the yearly budgeting/forecasting process
Your Profile
- This role is ideal for diligent, intelligent and driven CA/CPA qualified accountant who is looking to take their career to the next level inside a large and successful Corporate business. A suitable candidate will possess relevant experience in the above from either a Commercial or Chartered Accounting environment as well as:
- Display a stable and consistent work history.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
- Show an ability to think outside the square, problem solve and show the initiative.
- Possess strong academics in a relevant Bachelor’s degree.
- Display a friendly yet hardworking personality
