My client are a leading ASX listed company with a national reach. They are currently going through a lot of growth as a market leader in a growing industry. The role is initially earmarked as a 12 month contract role, but with so much growth in the business for the right candidate the role will go permanent.

Reporting into the Financial Planning and Analysis manager the key duties of the role include: 

• Analyse and verify actual performance against plan & forecasts and investigate variances
• Partnering with key stakeholders to drive business improvement
• Weekly and monthly management reporting and analysis
• Involvement in regular reporting of project performance, including direct contact with Senior stakeholders in the business
• Finance and operational process improvements
• Calculations and posting of journals as part of month-end close
• Build strong working relationships with the Business stakeholders and across Finance

About you

• Newly qualified, or commenced and working towards CA/CPA qualification
• 1-2 years’ experience in professional services or commercial business
• Ideally trained in Big 4 or mid-tier chartered firm
• Exposure to SAP / Tm1 is advantageous, but not essential
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Keen to value add to the business through partnering with non-finance stakeholders
• Eager to learn and develop industry experience
