Our client is a $2B global logistics company expanding in Australia and around the world. They are currently looking for a capable and ambitious Senior Management Accountant who is looking to take the next step in their career. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the following areas:

• Establishing and maintaining company financial policies, procedures and controls;
• Analysing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business strategies, planning and forecasts;
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports, including
• Providing insights to management through the preparation of intuitive reports with a key focus on budgets, variance analysis, KPI reporting, modelling and management reports;
• Ensure spending is kept in line with budgets/forecasts through development and maintaining of procedures;
• Providing ongoing business partnering to the operational managers around the country;
• Leading and managing key projects to drive business outcomes;
• Advising on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions;
• Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers;
• Offering professional judgement on financial matters and advise ways of improving business performance;
• Presenting to Senior Management team; and
• Conducting Adhoc finance tasks and projects as required.

In order to be considered for this wonderful opportunity, you will:

• Be tertiary qualified in Accounting and be CPA/CA qualified;
• Possess intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills;
• Have outstanding interpersonal, management and relationship building skills;
• Have a proven background in Financial Analysis/Management Accounting;
• Be familiar with financial ERP system(s) and reporting tools;
• Drive to assist and support business stakeholders;
• Display a continuous improvement mindset;
• Demonstrate an Ability to prioritize and self-motivate and;
• Possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
