The Business
Our client is a giant in their industry, connecting millions of customers and business both nationally and globally. Over the past 40 years, they have grown to become the outstanding market leader in their field, looking to hire outstanding rapport builders across the business.
The Role
This is a newly created position within finance. The business is looking for a fast-paced, hands-on Senior FP&A Analyst to join the team and report into the Commercial Manager.
The role is heavily strategic, and requires a natural business partner as a result.
Working as part of a team, but requiring autonomous self-governance, you will be responsible for the following:
- Business performance & KPI analysis
- Operational variance analysis
- Market and competitor trend analysis
- Financial Modelling
- Board presentations
- Suggest initiatives to drive the financial and operational performance of the business
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
The Individual
We are looking for someone who should have a background in commercial / finance or business analysis, or project accounting. A successful candidate should have the following requirements:
- CA or CPA qualifications
- 5-8 years prior experience in an analytical position
- Prior experience using TM1 or similar reporting tool
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Financial modelling experience
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
