The Role
You will be operating in a high performance and fast-paced culture and will be offered the opportunity to be guided by a fantastic mentor with your duties including:
- Preparation of APRA returns
- Reconciling clearing bank accounts and transfer to appropriate trust bank accounts
- Preparation of annual investment income return
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Preparation, reconciliation and review of journals and General Ledger accounts
- Preparation of BAS and Tax Returns
- Contribute to the consolidated monthly management accounts
- Assist in the preparation of Year End consolidated accounts
- Considerable interaction with other departments to resolve queries
- Ad hoc duties as required
Your Profile
This role is suitable for a CA/CPA qualified accountant with strong financial accounting skills within the Financial Services industry and ideally banking experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to ‘value add’, think critically and problem solve in previous roles as well as show:
- A stable and consistent work history
- Mandarin speaking advantageous
- A committed, hardworking and friendly personality
- Experience in the banking industry will be looked upon favorably
