Your new company
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a leading organisation within a large finance team.
Your new role
Within this role the right candidate will be reporting directly to the Senior Accountant, with responsibilities including but not be limited to:
- Monthly general ledger account reconciliations/assisting with month end process
- Preparation and processing of journals
- P&L and Balance Sheet
- Annual audit of full consolidated accounts
- Assistance with effective cash flow management
- Financial reporting and tax compliance
- Quarterly statutory reporting (BAS and FBT)
- Fixed asset register maintenance
- Work with finance team to identify and implement business process improvement
- Other ad hoc duties to support the team
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant. You will have come from a large business with a complex finance structure. You will have a CA / CPA qualification and possess strong attention to detail skills. You will have a critical mindset and want to help drive business performance with the willingness to learn and develop as well as excellent written skills.
