The Opportunity:
If you are keen to experience a business that will likely double in size in the next 5 years from an already impressive base, then this is the challenge you have been looking for. Working to a property specialist Financial Controller the role will support the delivery of responsive, timely and value add financial information. A dynamic business, you will need to be agile and adapt readily to new challenges and growth.
The Role:
Working to the Financial Controller and closely with the Manager of the Investments accounting function, you will supervise two junior accountants performing reconciliatory functions and month-end processes. You will use your technical grounding to build stronger controls and processes around managing external audits. You will also help the Financial Controller to oversight the AP team and to help bed down new systems and process as they move towards a new ERP and BI tool.
The Person:
The role would suit someone with a strong technical accounting background (CA/CPA, potentially audit background) and ideally some commercial experience from industry. Someone with a background in a well-respected CA firm would be a good fit. You will have strong analytical capabilities, sound commercial acumen and solid experience leading a team. You will be a good communicator with the ability to advise and guide a diverse range of stakeholders including those from non-financial backgrounds. You are passionate about your work and will thrive in an evolving, fast-paced environment
The Salary:
$85 - $100K + super.
