Based at the Parkville offices, this role reports to the Associate Director and will offer you the opportunity to be recognised for your genuine experience, capability and knowledge, which, will feed directly into the wider success of the organisation. 

The role of Senior Accountant includes: -

1. Client Services – Manage you own allocation of clients, finding opportunities to improve the client experience through proactivity, value added advice, introducing new clients and expanding current services.
2. Accounting Activities - Provide tailored Business Advisory to a range of business clients, including: general compliance, accounting and tax return, following processes through iFirm and continually searching for process improvements.
3. Time Management – Manage your time sheet, WIP and reconcile with time and cost allocated.
4. Team and Self Development – Mentor, grow and develop assigned team members, supervision of delegated work, continually strive to improve and develop professionally within an ever-changing environment through keeping up to date with industry changes, attending training sessions and meetings.
5. Leadership – Demonstrate, embody and promote the organisations core values and guiding principles and foster the philosophy that “we’re all in it together”.

It is very important that you are able to demonstrate deep previous accounting experience in a similar financial services firm.  Also importantly, you will have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, in addition to sound computer skills and have a high degree of numeracy with the ability to build strong relationships through your positive and results driven attitude.  You will be flexible, adaptable and open to new concepts, with a focus on attention to detail, maintaining client confidentiality and a professional manner at all times.
