Actuate Recruitment is working closely with this industry leader to identify and recruit stand-out IT Audit and Tech Risk professioanls for their growing team in Sydney .
Their IT Audit function is evolving on a regular basis, becoming agile, dynamic and responding to emerging risks and banking regulators.
They are seeking a natural relationship builder, someone to lead a team, manage a portfolio and help execute the IT internal audit plan.
This organisation prides itself on paying in the top percentile coupled with a generous bonus.
Logical first move out of the Big 4 / Top 10 consulting firms with support and training provided as part of the role.
Responsibilities
- Execute audits within agreed timeframes and in line with the groups Methodology.
- Interview customers and conduct process walkthroughs to understand the risk and control environment.
- Test key controls by gathering relevant audit evidence and interpreting data.
- Document test plans, results and conclusions clearly and concisely.
- Assist with issue trending and validation of closed audit issues.
- Deliver high value advice by identifying insights and productivity opportunities, which enable pragmatic business change and align with the strategic direction of the business.
- Solve problems by applying innovative thinking. Actively participate in processes to capture and act on innovation
Experience & Qualifications
- 3 - 4+ years of experience in information technology audit related areas including:
- IT Application Controls, Software development, Information security
- Identity and access management
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business or Technology related field
- Professional qualification in Information Technology (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, ITIL)
