Key Responsibilities:
- Review and distribute the monthly financial reports to senior management and the board of Directors
- Calculation and posting of cost allocations
- Develop, improve and document business processes and accounting policies
- Oversee end-of-month balance sheet reconciliations
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and mid-year budget revision/re-forecast
- Manage various bookkeeping tasks
- Assist with the preparation of financial acquittals required for grants and tenders
- Complete various administrative tasks as required to a high standard
- Spreadsheet management
- Preparation of adhoc Financial reporting, as required
- Other Finance duties as directed
As a seasoned finance professional, your input will lead to the overall increased performance and integrity of the Business systems and processes. You will be an excellent communicator and possess an ability to handle multiple tasks.
About you:
- Completed a degree in Finance/Business Administration or similar
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Finance Officer
- Have experience within business Administration with a sound understanding of business processes
- Experienced, mature and able to problem solve
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable Australian Accounting Standards
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure
- Have high levels of computer literacy (Advanced Excel Skills)
- Will be a strong communicator who is comfortable liaising at all levels within the business
- Have excellent time management skills
- Be willing to undertake various financial tasks
- A valid Australian work visa with no restrictions
