Large Australian owned organisation based near Brisbane Airport is seeking a Financial Accountant to join them for an an initial four month contract to support year end activities and upcoming projects.  There is a large possibility that this role will go long term as the business is experiencing high growth and expansion.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller you will initially be responsible for:

• Supporting year end activities you will be heavily involved in the detail of preparation of the year end financial statements.
• Ensure General Ledger reconciles to company bank statements.
• Provide commentary and supporting information to assist external auditors.

To be considered for this opportunity you will be have hands on experience from a medium to large organisation working as a Financial Accountant and have experience in leading the year end activities within a busy complex environment.
