The Firm
This nationally and internationally branded CA firm employs approximately 60 staff in its Brisbane CBD office. The firm offers services in audit, business advisory, tax, superannuation, insolvency and corporate finance. Its large audit division covers everything from associations, super funds all the way through to a number of ASX listed clients.
The Role
The firm is seeking an internal audit partner to join its team. They are looking for someone who can build a business from scratch and grow their internal audit division. You will have experience working with clients who are councils, the State Government and financial services.
Aspects of your role will include:
- A high level of client contact
- Mentoring staff, and encouraging growth and career success
- Conducting audit engagements from beginning to end
- Researching and analysing financial statements and audit related matters
The Individual
A suitable candidate will have:
- 10+ years’ experience
- Completed CA or CPA
- Excellent networking capabilities
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Outstanding capacity to effectively lead and mentor a driven team
- Experience dealing with clients that are councils, the State Government and financial services
- Strong business development skills
- Capability to grow the internal audit division
