A new Payroll opportunity has become available for a highly technical Senior Payroll Officer. This role is away from your standard payroll processing and requires someone with strong experience within compliance & obligations. You will be responsible for maintaining a framework that supports the C&O function and hold strong knowledge within: Superannuation, Payroll Tax, PAYG and LSL. You will be part of a fun and friendly team that strive towards quality service to their employees.


Duties:

• Ensure tools are developed & maintained that support the Compliance & Obligation framework
• Allocate tasks for completion via the team
• Oversee & complete year-end activities required for each obligation
• Ensure all payroll related C&O are met
• Assist with payroll processing when required 
• Be able to participate in implementing process & continuous improvement

Skills & Experience Required:

• Full understanding of all payroll related compliance & legislative obligations
• Experience using a large payroll software
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Strong initiative and ability to investigate problems & provide solutions
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
