Description of day to day responsibilities

Day-to-day duties include but are not limited to:

• Collection of outstanding amounts in line with company policies and procedures

• Chase payments over the phone/by mail or email

• Verify discrepancies and resolve clients billing issues

• Reconcile debtor accounts

• Conduct credit checks

• Prepare statements and bank deposits

• Set up new accounts and maintain customer files

Ideal candidate MUST have:

The successful candidate must have the following experience:

• A minimum of three years experience in accounts receivable

• Well developed MS Excel skills

• Strong negotiation skills

• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

This role is primarily an accounts receivable role, however for the right candidate, this role has the potential to grow into a more high level reporting role within the business.
