National Hospitality Management has an exciting opportunity available for a Full Time Accounts Administrator interested in joining our national chain of hotels consisting of The Glenferrie Hotel, Platform 28, The Elephant & Wheelbarrow and Bridie O'Reilly's.
Requirements:-
- You will have a sound accounting knowledge and be capable of preparing accounts to Trial Balance stage.
- Be proficient in the use of excel and comfortable learning other computer software packages or have knowledge in Sage Accpac, Wage Easy (Payroll), Bluize (Stock Control System).
- You should be capable of working as a team member and assist in the day to day management of the office and general administration ensuring the property administration is run in accordance with the directives, policies and procedures of the company.
- Collation, input and production of all relevant information, including payroll, accounts payable and receivable as well as weekly and monthly reporting on a timely and accurate basis.
- Meeting all property legal and contractual obligations including (but not limited to) payments for insurance; payroll tax; superannuation; BAS etc. within specified time parameters.
- Analysing financial information on an ongoing basis.
- You will need to liaise regularly with the Property Managers (and other Management as appropriate) regarding financials. This also includes explaining and discussing variances to budgets; budget and other financial controls; performance data against previous benchmarks.
- Working with the Property Manager, in particular to initiate remedial action when budgets are not being met.
- Co-operating fully with any accounting directives as either issued directly by the Financial Controller or through the Managing Director.
- Maintaining a cordial, positive and professional relationship with management and employees within own property as well as with other operations within the group.
- Carry out other duties as advised from time to time consistent with your appointment.
