About Our Client

Our client is one of the largest companies in Australia and a major world player. Due to promotion of their existing Senior Analyst within the organisation they are looking for a new person in their Melbourne HQ campus.

The Opportunity

This is a highly visible role within the organisation with a supportive management team that nutures growth. The oppertunity has arisen as the current Analyst has been promoted internally into a new position as part of their career plan.

The Associate Director of the team has themself grown through promotion in the organisation to become a key influencer in the organisation.

You will be working closely with the Senior Business Partners and influential stakeholders to make sure the business has what it needs to make effective tactical and strategic decisions. This is from the bottom up at department, division and c-suite level, where you will have an influence on key commercial decisions.

A large focus will be on how you can use your experience in Statutory reporting and Audit to add value to the organisation through lasting tangible process improvement.

It is a perfect opportunity for a qualified Big 4 / CPA to move into industry and have a chance at an escalated route to promotion as it is a highly visible role with influencers within the organisation.

We are looking for an energetic, pro-active and commercially astute person for this role. You will have a demonstrable track record of career progression within large, complex corporates.

Your roles to date will clearly illustrate your innate ability to partner with internal stakeholders and manage multiple projects/budgets across diverse business areas.

You will be someone who always has a keen eye for continous improvement and who can demonstrate an ability to think outside the square when needed.

Naturally, your Excel skills will be advanced and you will be able to confidently explain financials to non-financial partners when needed as well as a thorough understanding of Regulatory and Statutory reporting requirements.
