Mars Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Intermediate Accountant on behalf of a professional services firm, based in south west WA.
Firm:
This is a very well established accounting practice who has been operating in the south west for a number of years and provide audit, tax, business services and bookkeeping services to their broad range of clients. They have a young enthusiastic team and are seeking someone with the passion to develop their career in public practice and who can progress up the ranks.
Role :
This role would be working in a specific devision within business advisry, which has a strong focus on using new and existing technologies to improve internal processes with an aim to constantly increasing efficiencies.
The position will be very hands-on, and will involve the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for various levels of clients, reviewing work, assisting new Accountants and Bookkeepers, and also stepping in to assist the Bookkeeping team when required.
Requirements:
- Hold a bachelors in business or commerce
- Studying for CA/CPA or completed
- Ideally hold at least 2 years' experience within tax and business services
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Hold working rights for Australia
