My client are an international NFP that want to make a difference to the lives of young women and men globally. Through education of people all over the world, they have become one of the most well recognised charities in the sector.
Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of financial and management providing technical advice to the Reporting Team and wider business. In addition there will be Internal and External Audit support, preparing quarterly and year end reconciliations and general ledger and balance sheet accounting, ensuring timely month-end close. Also, you will be expected to -
• Journal entries including accruals and prepayments
• Assistance of annual budget and forecast preparation
• Building excellent internal and external relationships
Profile
Experience of financial accounting and financial reporting;
Experience of forecasting and preparing management accounts;
A good knowledge of accounting standards;
Superb communication and Excel / System skills
2-4 years' experience in a similar role
CPA/CA Qualified
It would be desirable if you had, but this is not essential:
Experience of using SAP;
Experience of complex Fixed Asset Accounting;
Experience of Statutory Reporting.
