The Company
Our client is boutique  firm based South-East of the CBD. They currently have a vacancy for an experienced and energetic Senior Accountant. This is a varied role that needs commitment and enthusiasm and has the opportunity to become a manager role in the future.

You will enjoy all the benefits of working in a boutique firm with on-site parking and public transport at the front door. This firm has a friendly and relaxed environment and is looking for an accountant who is happy to get involved with all areas and clients and would work well as part of a supportive team.


The Opportunity
The successful applicant will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and generally driving clients and business forward by increasing productivity through innovative solutions. Your duties will include;

• Client consultations
• Preparing financial statements for all entities including companies, partnerships and trusts
• Preparing tax returns for the above entities as well as individuals
• Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements
• Fostering key relationships to develop clients and Business for the firm
• Assisting your portfolio of clients with their accounting requirements
• Providing technical advice and adding value to your client portfolio
• Taxation advice

 
About You

• 4 + years local experience as a Business Services Accountant 
• CA / CPA near completion or willing to do so
• Driven to succeed and motivated 
• A positive attitude and a great willingness to learn
• Be able to build strong relationships with clients
• Have excellent communication and written skills
• Have a passion for business advisory
