About the Role:
- Processing of Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Maintaining the General Ledger to Trial Balance
- Weekly Payroll run
- Maintain Pay Records & Employee Information
- Monthly Payroll Tax & Superannuation payments
- Bank, Debtor & Creditor, Payroll Reconciliations
- Liase with the External Accountant when required
- Assist with other Administration Duties when required, including Debt Collection
Your Skills & Experience:
- A minimum 3 - 5 years current Bookkeeping/Payroll experience
- MUST have Reckon/QuickBooks experience
- Must be competent with Microsoft Office suite
- Must be a self starter, able to work as part of a team and have the ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a professional & responsible manner
- Excellent English speaking & written communication skills
- Accountability, Accuracy & Speed are paramount
Initially the position is 2 days per week, (Wednesday & Thursday) with the possibility of going to 3 days.
All resumes must specify accounting package experience, ie. MYOB, XERO used in previous jobs
You must be an Australian Citizen or the holder of an Australian Permanent Residence Visa. A Police check will also be required.
