An opportunity has become available for a commercially astute Cost Accountant looking for a new challenge and to join a leading Australian owned business located in Southwest Sydney. This is a genuine business partnering role where you will have a direct influence on the bottom line results of a $400m organisation.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role has been created to support multiple business units across the business nationally. Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Product costing and production analysis utilising SAP
- Maintenance of material masters, BOM & Routings and standard costs for all FI sites (plants and branches)
- Preparation and creation of new product costing for all product categories
- Daily and monthly accounting, analysis & reporting for FI factories
- Implementation of process changes necessary to ensure on going improvement in plant performance
- Developed financial modelling to facilitate monthly production analysis
- Optimizing yearly budgeting and standard costs roll over process
The Successful Applicant:
- A self-starter, with strong levels of drive, enthusiasm and initiative
- Demonstrate technical proficiency with accounting concepts
- ERP experience specifically SAP FICO will be highly regarded
- A pro-active approach to work and strong interpersonal skills
